Mecklenburg County Voting Information


This guide features information about the 2020 election.

In addition to the presidential election, there will be elections for all 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives, 35 seats in the United States Senate, 13 governor's seats, and hundreds of state, local, and municipal offices.

Remember every vote matters!

Important Deadlines to Remember!

Task Deadline
 Deadline to Register on online or by mail October 9th
Deadline to Request an Absentee Ballot

By 5:00 pm, Tuesday, October 27th for the General Election

*Absentee Ballots must be posted marked by Nov. 3rd to be counted.

Early Voting October 15th - 31st
Same-Day Registration October 15th - 31st, same as early voting
Election Day Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020; 6:30 am -7:30 pm
