MLA Citation Style

A brief guide to creating proper in-text citations and Works Cited lists, including examples of citations to some of the more common types of materials used in research papers.  These examples should not be considered exhaustive, however.  If you are unsure how to cite a particular source, talk to your instructor or a reference librarian.  For a more complete explanation of the use of MLA style, please refer to:
